The Company is widely recognised as a small, successful defence industry representational, consultancy, and project management company, and as a specialist training and in service support provider, through its endurance in the market place, its achievements on behalf of clients, including, Orbital ATK, Hughes Defense and Intelligence Systems, Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace and Supacat, LOPAC’s competence and credibility have attracted a consolidated, select list of international clients, each of whom have established and maintained world-wide leading positions in their respective industries.

Over the years, LOPAC has also developed a generic defence consultancy base and important, credible links with the defence oriented media.

Bob Parker

MMGT Managing Director  

Bob served in the Australian Regular Army (ARA) as an infantry officer and his service included operational and international instructional positions and a posting to the Capability Development Group (now Capability Acquisition & Sustainment Group) where he was responsible for several major capital equipment projects.

Bob joined LOPAC in 2005 and leads our strategic analysis capability and is also responsible for our land force activities. He is a graduate of the Australian Technical Staff Officers Course and of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Brian Cather

MIEAust, CPEng , Director  

Brian Cather graduated from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology as an Aeronautical Engineer and served in the Australian Air Force (RAAF) as an Armament Engineering Officer. During his 20 year service he held a variety of positions including Weapons Trials Engineer at the Aircraft Research and Development Unit and Base Armament Officer at RAAF Base Williamtown. Brian also worked for two years in the Directorate of Armament Engineering – Navy as Systems Engineer for Guided Weapons.

Brian joined LOPAC in 1993 and was appointed a Director in 2005 and he manages our aerospace and maritime activities.
